Antiseptic Ointments are like antiseptic creams, with very similar properties. The main difference is that an ointment is oil based and thick in consistency as opposed to a cream which is water based and light.
Antiseptic ointments are to be applied topically to the affected area for protection and prevention from infection and bacteria. Suitable for use on a variety of skin conditions, irritations and sores such as minor wounds, minor burns, insect bites, blisters and blistered skin from eczema or sunburn and chafing and nappy rash.
