Ispagel® Orange is made from the dried seeds from the Ispaghula plant. It is designed to help to alleviate constipation and also help to maintain regular bowel function by those who suffer with conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), haemorrhoids, anal fissure, colostomy/ileostomy, persistent diarrhoea due to diverticular disease and ulcerative colitis.
Directions for use:
Pour the sachet into a glass or cup and add at least 150ml (¼ pint) of water. Stir quickly for up to 5 seconds and drink the liquid straight away. The mixture will thicken if you leave it to stand. However, if it begins to thicken whilst you are still drinking it, add more water to dilute.
Adults and the elderly: One Sachet (3.5g dose) to be taken 1 - 3 times a day.
Children 6- 12 years old: half an adult dose.
Children under 6 years old must see a doctor first.
Make sure Ispagel is taken with plenty of water, preferably before bed time.
