Gaviscon Cool Liquid contains per 10ml: 500mg Sodium Alginate, 267mg Sodium Bicarbonate & 160mg Calcium Carbonate. Also contains xylitol. Used to treat stomach pain, indigestion and acid reflux. Gaviscon Cool Liquid is much the same as Original Gaviscon Liquid, in that it helps to prevent stomach acid from re-entering the food pipe and causing discomfort such as heartburn. However, the added benefit to Gaviscon Cool, is that it also contains xylitol, which is an ingredient often found in chewing gum or some toothpastes.
