Hand, Elbow & Knee Care Cream has been specially formulated to deal with these problem areas. Every time you wash your hands or after showering, the affects can harden and dry out already crack prone skin. Once applied, this cream begins to soften and heal damaged skin. The moisturisers in the cream include: UREA acts as a hydrating agent. It softens epidermal keratin (hard, dry skin cells), enabling them to absorb and retain moisture and water from the cream, into the top layers of skin. This is a process known as hydroptic solubilisation. LACTIC ACID helps basal cells to rebuild their protective barrier. The lactic acid acts as an exfoliant, removing old skin cells and allowing new ones to grow. The new skin feels smooth, elastic and flexible which enhances the skin's natural barrier. SILK PROTEIN is a natural moisturiser that is quickly absorbed in to the skin, leaving it feeling smooth, supple and fresh. Directions: Apply twice a day on damp skin. Avoid contact with eyes.
