Asthma

Asthma is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the airways, characterised by variable and recurring symptoms including coughing, wheezing, chest tightness and shortness of breath.

Asthma creates a constriction of the airways to the lungs, causing a shortness of breath for the sufferer. Although asthma cannot be cured, in most cases sufferers can keep the condition under control with inhalers and breathing aids including natural remedies and by avoiding allergens.
