About Biotene Dry Mouth GelBiotene dry mouth gel is a long-lasting treatment for a range of dry mouth conditions. Each application of Biotene Oralbalance keeps your mouth feeling moist and comfortable for up to 5 hours at a time, day and night.
The patented Biotene Oralbalance enzyme formulation supplements the mouth's natural anti-bacterial defence system helping to neutralise odours and unpleasant tastes. Biotene Oralbalance moisturises the mouth and thus helps for those who have difficulty in swallowing due to a dry mouth. Biotene provides long-lasting relief and has a refreshing taste.Biotene Gel - ingredientsThe active ingredients of Biotene Gel are:
Lactoperoxidase and Glucose Oxidase. Together, these ingredients inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
Lactoferrin. This deprives the harmful bacteria of iron, thus inhibiting their growth.
Lysozyme. This splits the cell walls of harmful bacteria.
Biotene Gel contains natural Xylitol for a more pleasant taste. Biotene is sugar-free.How to use Biotene GelApply pleasant tasting, long lasting Biotene Oralbalance as often as needed, particularly at night. Place 1-2cm of the gel directly onto the lounge and spread thoroughly inside the mouth. Biotene is great for with denture wearers - apply under the dentures before insertion. Biotene Oralbalance is also great for those who have a dry mouth because they breathe a lot through their mouth.More about Biotene GelBiotene gel is also found in the full Biotene Dry Mouth System.
