Zantac 75 tablets are designed for those who suffer from heartburn and indigestion. They can be used for the symptomatic relief of these symptoms and they can be used as a preventative measure.

Each tablet contains Ranitidine 75mg.
For the relief of acid indigestion, hyperacidity and heartburn.
For the prevention of heartburn, indigestion, acid indigestion and hyperacidity experienced after eating and drinking.
Zantac 75 contains a medicine called Ranitidine, this medicine is known as a H2 receptor antagonist. H2 receptors are found in cells in your stomach lining, usually a naturally occurring chemical called histamine binds to these receptors causing your cells to produce stomach acid. Ranitidine, the active ingredient in Zantac 75, blocks the histamine from binding with the H2 receptors which causes less stomach acid to be produced. Stomach acid is needed to digest your food, if too much acid is produced it causes discomfort known as indigestion, the acid can also flow back into your oesophagus causing heartburn.
Directions for Use: Adults and children over 16 years - Take one tablet as soon as symptoms begin. Another can be taken in one hour if symptoms persist or recur up to a maximum of four tablets in 24 hours. For the prevention of symptoms caused by consumption of food and drink - Take one half to one tablet, one hour beforehand.
Ingredients: Ranitidine Hydrochloride 84mg (equivalent to ranitidine 75mg), Microcrystalline Cellulose NF, Magnesium Stearate, Filmcoat (Aqueous), Hypromellose (E464), Titanium Dioxide (E171), Synthetic red iron oxide (E172), Triacetin.
