Lecithin granules can be added to any meal or drink and are a useful cooking ingredient.

Sprinkle 1 to 2 level tablespoons of granules onto cereals or stir into fruit juices. Lecithin granules are particularly useful as a thickener in soups and casseroles. 1 level tablespoon = 7.5 grams.

Lecithin, technically called a phospholipid, is a tasty natural source of phosphatidyl choline and inositol. Both nutrients play an important role in fat metabolism. Phosphatidyl choline also plays an important role in the healthy functioning of nerves and the brain.
