A. Vogel Chamomile Ointment is a unique blend of healing herbs, including German Chamomile, Calendula and Witch hazel in a natural base. The formulation includes seven plant extracts made from certified organically grown plants. The fresh herb extraction process guarantees the full spectrum of active ingredients.
Key Ingredients:- German Chamomile (Chamomile recutita), the main herb used in this ointment, contains azulene, which is commonly used in dermatological products and cosmetics for its anti-inflammatory properties. Chamomile is also an abundant source of minerals, which contribute antiseptic and emollient properties to the cream.
- Calendula (Calendula officinalis) contains bitters, resins, essential oils and acids, which contribute antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
- Sanicle (Sanicula europaea) extract is for its highly antiseptic nature.
- Witch Hazel (Hammamelis virginiana) has traditionally been used in dermatology as an astringent, and thus is an excellent tonic for the skin. Its high concentration of tannins helps to preserve the skin and keep it looking fresh by cleaning and firming the pores.
Ideal for rough, dehydrated, chapped and flaky skin.
Suitable for use as an emollient for eczema.
