Due to the new EU Herbal Legislation, Lamberts Valerian can no longer be sourced from Lamberts as of the 30th April 2011 until it has been licensed and registered. Valerian is a herbaceous plant with pinkish coloured flowers that is native to North America and Europe. Sometimes know as European Valerian or All Heal, it is the root/rhizome that is harvested for use in commercial preparations.
Valerian has uses in herbal medicine as a sedative, making this supplement perhaps beneficial for managing anxiety, nervous tension and muscle spasms.
Lamberts Valerian is one of the highest strength products available in the UK. Each tablet contains a 400mg of Valerian extract, equivalent to 1600mg of Valerian.
Dosage: 1 to 2 tablets one hour before bedtime.
Disintegration Time: Less than 1 hour.
Suitable for vegetarians.
