Before purchasing an upper arm blood pressure monitor you must make sure that the cuff is the right size for you. Measure the circumference of the widest part (the bicep) of your upper arm. This measurement, in centimetres, will give you the size of the cuff you require. Most monitors come with a medium size as standard but other sizes are available.
