How Alli worksAlli is different to most weight loss pills. Alli works within the digestive system but is not absorbed into the bloodstream. When you take an Alli capsule, the active ingredient Orlistat sticks to some of the enzymes that would usually digest fat. This prevents some of the fat from being digested so it passes through your body. This in turn helps you to lose weight.

Warnings!
You should only take Alli if your body mass index is at least 28. We have a BMI calculator to help you to work this out. When you purchase Alli from Express Chemist, you must enter your Body Mass Index in the condition description box on the questionnaire that pops up when you add it to your basket. Your Body Mass Index must be 28 or higher, otherwise we will not be allowed - by law - to supply you with Alli.
If you don't follow a low fat diet whilst taking Alli then you may experience runny, oily stools. (Take a look at our recommended dietary advice).
You should not take Alli if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Children under 18 should not take alli. You should seek medical advice before taking Alli if you are taking warfarin, medicine for diabetes, are being treated for thyroid disease or are taking oral contraception.
