How Alli worksAlli is different to most weight loss pills. Alli works within the digestive system but is not absorbed into the bloodstream. When you take an Alli capsule, the active ingredient Orlistat sticks to some of the enzymes that would usually digest fat. You should only take Alli if your body mass index is at least 28. We have a BMI calculator to help you to work this out. When you purchase Alli from Express Chemist, you must enter your Body Mass Index in the condition description box on the questionnaire that pops up when you add it to your basket. Your Body Mass Index must be 28 or higher, otherwise we will not be allowed - by law - to supply you with Alli.
