Phenergan TabletsSmall blue tablet containing 10mg - Promethazine Hydrochloride.Behaves as an antihistamine to treat allergic conditions such as hayfever, rashes and hives, an antiemetic to help prevent travel sickness and as an Short term sedative.May cause drowsiness!For short term use only.56 x 10mg tablets.Directions:
As an antihistamine (To treat allergic reactions):Children 2-5 years - Not recommended, Try Phenergan Elixir.Children 5-10 years - Either 1 dose of 1 or 2 tablets at night, or 1 tablet twice a day. (Do not exceed 2 tablets per day).10 years - Adults - Begin with 1 tablet twice a day. Increase to 2 tablets three times a day only if necessary.
In travel sickness:Children 2-5 years - Not recommended, Try Phenergan Elixir.Children 5-10 years - One tablet the night before the journey. Repeat after 6-8 hours if necessary.10 years - Adult - 2 tablets the night before the journey. Repeat after 6-8 hours if necessary.
For short term sedation:Children 2-5 years - Not recommended, Try Phenergan Elixir.Children 5-10 years - 2 tablets as one night time dose.Adults and children over 10 - 2-5 tablets as a single night time dose.
Do not use Phenergan if you are pregnant or lactating.
Do Not use for longer than 7 consecutive days with out confirmation by your doctor.
Ingredients: Lactose • Maize starch • Polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 • Magnesium stearate • Polyethylene glycol 200 • Opaspray M-1-4210A (contains Titanium dioxide - E 171, Hypromellose - E464 and Indigo carmine aluminium lake FD&C Blue no 2 - E132) • Hypromellose (Pharmacoat 606).
