Bio-Fem Active gel's pH of 4.1 is adjusted to the natural vaginal pH (pH3.8 to pH4.5), therefore the beneficial vaginal bacterial flora (lactobacilli or lactic acid bacteria) are encouraged to grow creating an optimal environment thus preventing discomfort. BioFem is ideal for women who are prone to recurring thrush.

Bio-Fem Active gel's formula is based on natural plant extracts. Bio-Fem Active gel does not contain any chemicals e.g. preservatives.
