Taking Echinacea internally can be very beneficial to your body and the way it fights infection. Common conditions such as flu and upper respiratory infections can stop recurring when Echinacea is taken for a period of time. Echinacea helps the body identify infectious particles and pathogens and works to kill them. On the onset of an infection, take Echinacea to increase your body's resistance which will reduce the severity of the symptoms.
This herb has also been shown to have the ability to heal light wounds e.g cuts, ulcers, minor burns, stings and poorly healing wounds. The polysaccharide Echinacin in Echinacea, is involved in the growth of new tissue and activates fibroblasts which are cells responsible for encouraging wound healing.
Directions for Use:
Adults: 1 tablet twice daily
Maintenance: 1 tablet a day.
Children: This product is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
