Imodium Capsules
Imodium Capsules are the original Imodium treatment, using the active ingredient Loperamide (2mg) in a swallowable capsule form. It works by slowing down the bowel and hence preventing frequent, runny stool movements. Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each further loose bowel movement.
Imodium Capsules are an old favourite for taking on holiday or keeping handy in case of diarrhoea, for occasional sufferers. It's also good for mild "tummy bug" diarrhoea, though if your symptoms persist for more than a few days then you should seek medical help.
