Corsodyl Original Mouthwash.Corsodyl Original Mouthwash is an aniseed flavoured medicated mouthwash that is used as an aid in the treatment and prevention of gum disease (gingivitis) and to improve dental hygiene by preventing the build-up of dental plaque.
The active ingredient of Corsodyl mouthwash is chlorhexidine gluconate 0.2%. Chlorhexidine destroys plaque bacteria and shields the teeth and gums by forming a barrier that provides protection for up to 12 hours.
As well as gum disease, Corsodyl Original Mouthwash also helps to treat and prevent bad breath, mouth ulcers, denture sores and oral thrush. It also helps promote healing after dental surgery.

Directions for use:- After brushing rinse mouth with water, then rinse with 10ml of mouthwash for about one minute. Repeat twice daily.
- Corsodyl Original Mouthwash suitable for children under 12 years of age unless instructed by a dentist.
Duration of use:- Gingivitis (gum disease) - Corsodyl treatment can be used for up to 30 days. If unsure. please consult your dentist or pharmacist first.
- Mouth ulcers & oral thrush - Continue to use Corsodyl for 2 days after healing has occurred.
- Denture sores - Soak and clean the dentures in Corsodyl mouthwash for 15 minutes twice daily.
