Chlamydia is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the United Kingdom. It is easy to pass between men and women and it rarely shows any symptoms. If you have had sex without a condom and have not been sexually screened since, it is important you do so. If chlamydia is left untreated, it can cause pelvic pain, infertility and blocked fallopian tubes in women, and reduced fertility and testicular problems in men.
This test is simple to use and results are available in 7 days. Do remember, this test is for chlamydia only. If you are experiencing symptoms suggestive of any STI's, you must visit your GP, GUM clinic or family planning center as soon as you can.
How to use:
Firstly make sure you read the instructions all the way through. Provide a fresh urine sample and fill out the test request form enclosed. Before you do anything else, you MUST keep hold of your Unique Reference Number (URN) because you will need it to obtain your results. If you do not hold on to your URN you will have to purchase another test and start the process all over again.
Lastly, post the urine sample in the packaging and the pre-paid Clamelle envelope enclosed. Your results will be available in 7 days.
