Due to the new EU Herbal Legislation, A. Vogel Uva-Ursi Complex can no longer be sourced from A. Vogel or Express Chemist as of the 30th April 2011 until it has been licensed and registered. Within the next year or so A. Vogel will be licensing and registering their Uva-Ursi Complex.A. Vogel Uva-Ursi Complex is a combination of herbs formulated by Alfred Vogel to relieve the symptoms associated with urinary tract infections. It works as a urinary antiseptic, and its action is of benefit in cystitis caused by bacteria of fungi.
Key Ingredients:
- Uva-ursi (Bearberry)
has antiseptic qualities and an astringent effect, thus is beneficial in some forms of incontinence.
- Echinacea Purpurea (Purple Coneflower) possesses indirect anti-infective properties, improving the white blood cell activity and interferon production.
Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Recommended Dosage: Adults: 15 drops in a little water, 2 to 3 times daily. Maintenance: 15 drops in a little water, once daily. The maintenance dos is appropriate long term for chronic conditions. Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age in a little water, twice daily.
Please note: For best effect avoid high protein food, tea, coffee and alcohol, whilst increasing fruit (apart from citrus fruit) and vegetables in the diet.
Ingredients: Contains the tincture of fresh aerial parts of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (Bearberry) 75%, fresh Echinacea purpurea* (Purple Conflower) herb 23.75% and Echinacea purpurea* (Purple Coneflower) root 1.25%, Alcohol content: 54% v/v.
