Anusol ointment is basically a thicker version of the cream, containing the same active ingredients in a different base. This makes Anusol ointment ideal for use with dressings.
- Buff-coloured Anusol ointment containing: Zinc oxide 10.75% w/w, Bismuth oxide 0.875% w/w, Balsam Peru 1.875% w/w, Bismuth subgallate 2.25% w/w
- Anusol Ointment provides symptomatic relief of uncomplicated internal and external haemorrhoids, pruritus ani, fissures and proctitis
- Adults and elderly: apply night and morning and after each bowel evacuation as necessary
- Anusol Ointment is best when applied on a gauze dressing. Use the Anusol Cream 43g or Anusol Cream 23g for best results without a dressing.
- Children: not recommended
Inactive ingredients:
Magnesium stearate, Cocoa butter, Lanolin anhydrous, Castor oil, Kaolin light, Petroleum Jelly White.
