Anacal Ointment - Provides soothing relief from haemorrhoids - Dual-action.
- 30g tube.
- White translucent ointment.
- Contains Heparinoid 0.2% w/w and Lauromacrogol-400 5% w/w.
Anacal Rectal Ointment provides dual-action relief from haemorrhoids and the related symptoms. It can be used to treat perianal eczema, pruritus, anal fissure, proctitis, periproctitis and aftercare of haemorrhoids treated by surgery or injection. Anacal Rectal Ointment contains two active ingredients:
- Heparinoid - inhibits the production of prostaglandin, a chemical that the body produces in response to an injury. Prostaglandin causes swelling.
- Lauromacrogol - is an anaesthetic that numbs the pain and the itching.
Directions for Use: Apply 1-4 times daily as required. Remember to wash and dry hands before and after application.
Warnings: If symptoms persist despite treatment, seek medical advice from your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is not to be taken by mouth.
