Numark Chesty Cough Compound Of Glycerin, Lemon & Ipecacuanha - Oral solution for the symptomatic relief of coughs.Relieves sore throat and soothes the cough.Suitable for children 2 years and over.
Directions: Adults - One to two 5ml spoonfuls. Children - Age 2-5: half 5ml spoonful. Age 6-12: one 5ml spoonful. Sip and swallow three or four times a day. Not more than 4 doses should be given in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine. Consult a pharmacist or other health care professional before use in children under 6 years. Not recommended for children under 2 years.
Warnings: Consult your doctor or pharmacist if taking medicines to control the heart rhythm, are pregnant or breast-feeding. Do not take if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or suffer from diabetes, heart, kidney or liver disorders. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, you accidentally take too much, or expensive any unusual side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Excessive or large doses may cause stomach upsets, vomiting, diarrhoea and heart problems. Unsuitable in hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-isomaltase deficiency. E123 can cause allergic type reactions including asthma. Allergy is more common in those people who are allergic to aspirin. Parabens may cause difficulty with breathing. Good dental hygiene is necessary. Do not use after the expiry date.
