Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens), is a small North American palm that gets its name from the spiny saw-toothed stems at the base of each leaf. The extract is derived from its dark berries, which are typically harvested around August to September.
Saw Palmetto is traditionally known for supporting men's health such as urinary problems and prostate health. In addition to this there has been recent research into the use of this herb for monthly female hormonal imbalances.
Each capsule provides a full 320mg of extract (equivalent to 2880mg of powdered berry) with an impressive 85 to 95% fatty acids and sterols. Like Lamberts Prostex product (formerly Saw Palmetto Complex), extract is used as opposed to powdered berries to increase the concentration and the effectiveness.
These tablets are designed to be taken alongside a multivitamin and mineral formula such as Premtis.
Dosage: 1 capsule daily.
Disintegration Time: Less than 30 minutes.
