Frio Wallets - Keeping insulin cool and safe. Frio Wallets have been designed to keep insulin within acceptable temperature limits, without refrigeration, for several days before they need to be reactivated.
Simply activate with cold water.

A Frio Wallet will come with a Cambrelle outer cover and the Frio inner pouch, made from poly-cotton, contains non-toxic/non-flammable crystals. Although the wallet is activated by water, after towel-drying, the wallet is dry to the touch.
This Frio Insulin Cooling Travel Wallet - Individual is effective for carrying:

The FRIO wallet can also be used for other medications that can also be stored at room temperature such as glaucoma eye drops, Growth Hormone, anaphylactic shock therapies etc. However, it is advised that users of medication other than insulin check with their doctor or pharmacist or the manufacturer's information leaflet for the specific safe storage requirements.

Directions: To activate the crystals, the pouch must be immersed in water for a maximum of 12 minutes. Once the crystals have gelled, the insulin can be stored inside it straight away.
