Codeine belongs to a group of analgesics (pain killers). It is a strong analgesic and provides relief from moderate pain. It is almost always sold in a preparation with another analgesic, it is also contained in some cough medicines as a cough suppressant and it can be used to relieve diarrhoea. It can be used for: Preparations including paracetamol, aspirin and ibuprofen can also relieve a fever and other symptoms of colds and flu.
Please Note: Due to MHRA regulations we can only despatch one box of Codeine-containing products at a time. Multiple orders will not be accepted. Codeine should not be taken for longer than 3 days as this can cause addiction. If you are still experiencing pain after 3 days of using Codeine please see your doctor.

Codeine Soluble/Dispersible/Effervescent:
Water soluble (or dispersible) tablets allow you to take your medicine as a drink. Approximately half a glass of water is usually used.
