Calpol Infant Suspension - contains paracetamol to provide mild pain and fever relief in infants.
200ml infant suspension medicine.
Strawberry flavour.
Contains 120mg paracetamol per 5ml.
Relieves pain and reduces fever.
Intended for children aged 2 months to 6 years.
Dosing spoon included.
Also available in a smaller 100ml bottle.
Calpol Infant Suspension is a strawberry-flavoured paracetamol suspension for children aged 2 months and over. It can be used to provide relief from general pain and high temperature, including post-immunisation fever, coughs and colds and teething pain.
Directions for use: Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use. Do not exceed the stated dose listed below.
| CHILD'S AGE - 2-3 months | HOW MUCH? | | 1. Post vaccination fever | 2.5ml (small end of spoon) If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose. | | 2. Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.Leave at least 4 hours between doses.Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to a doctor or pharmacist.If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Do not give your child this medicine if they have ever had a reaction to any of the ingredients, if they are taking anything else with Paracetamol in it, if they weigh less than 4kg or if they were born before 37 weeks.
Warnings:
This product is suitable for babies and children from 2 months to 6 years.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Keep bottle cap securely engaged at all times.
Consult your doctor before use if your child is taking any other medicines.
DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE.
Always use the spoon provided to measure.
Do not store above 25°c.
