A. Vogel Menosan Sage Drops.- Made with freshly harvested Sage (Salvia officinalis).
- Menosan is for the relief of hot flushes and night sweats often experienced during the menopause.
- Sage is also recognised as a Sore Throat remedy.
- Sage has a balancing effect on hormones, is hypothalamic, antibacterial and an astringent.
- These drops are to be addded to water.
Freshly harvested Sage (Salvia officinalis), a very popular herb with women, is used in this preparation. Sage has a balancing effect on the hypothalamus and temperature control. When drunk, it can also reduce the secretion of saliva.
The volatile oils in Sage are good antiseptics and the Tannins in Sage are anti-inflammatory and anstingant. These elements combined, are useful for sore throats, mouth ulcers, and mouth infections. To treat these conditions, use Menosan as a gargle.
Directions for Use:
To take internally: 15-20 drops in a little water 3 times daily. If night sweats are severe, take 30 drops before bed.
Maintenance: For long term management for chronic conditions - 15-20 drops in a little water once daily.
To make a gargle: 1- drops in half a cup of hot (not boiling) water. Use up to 6 times a day when needed to soothe sore throats.
Children: This product is not recommended for children.
