How Does Alli Work?Alli works by sticking to some of the enzymes inside our bodies that would usually digest fat. This prevents up to 25% of the fat consumed in your meal from being digested. The undigested fat passes harmlessly through the body and is deposited in the stool, helping you to lose more weight than dieting alone.

DirectionsTake one capsule, three times a day. Take Alli with food, typically you will take one with your breakfast, one with your lunch and one with your dinner. If you miss a meal or the meal you are eating is fat-free then you do not need to take a capsule.
Warnings!
You should only take Alli if your body mass index is at least 28. We have a BMI calculator to help you to work this out. When you purchase Alli from Express Chemist, you must enter your Body Mass Index in the condition description box on the questionnaire that pops up when you add it to your basket. Your Body Mass Index must be 28 or higher, otherwise we will not be allowed - by law - to supply you with Alli.
If you don't follow a low fat diet whilst taking Alli then you may experience runny, oily stools. (Take a look at our recommended dietary advice).
You should not take Alli if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Children under 18 should not take alli. You should seek medical advice before taking Alli if you are taking warfarin, medicine for diabetes, are being treated for thyroid disease or are taking oral contraception.
You should not take Alli if you are allergic to any of its ingredients (see below). You should also not use Alli if you are taking cyclosporine or have been diagnosed with a condition that prevents you from absorbing food.
